Here are two excellent resources for anyone who uses the Wechsler Scales, Bender Gestalt, orschach, or projective drawings. |

The widely used Psychodiagnostics and Personality Assessment: A Handbook is now available in a fully updated Third Edition. Adding relevant research since 1979, this edition tells you how to assess and diagnose personality using psychological tests, including the Wechsler Scales, Bender, Rorschach, and House-Tree-Person. The section on the Wechsler Scales now includes interpretations for the newer subtests and "sub-subtests." The Rorschach section incorporates interpretations from Exner, Lerner, Gacona, Meloy, and others. The book permits rapid interpretation based on accepted clinical practice, and each interpretation is referenced back to its original source for further study. |

The Handbook of Psychological Signs, Symptoms, and Syndromes presents signs of the most common psychological disorders, including neuroses and epiphenomena, psychoses, acting-out and character aberrations, organicity, and minor personality anomalies. Signs of each syndrome are listed as they appear on the most widely used psychodiagnostic instruments: the Wechsler Scales, Rorschach, Bender-Gestalt, House-Tree-Person and Draw-A-Person. In each section, the syndrome is defined; then behavioral signs are presented, followed by signs indicated on each psychodiagnostic instrument. Each sign is referenced to its original source, and contraindications are noted. This well-organized text allows you to rapidly retrieve essential information for diagnosis, assessment, and training. |
