WPS TEST REPORT
Computerized Assessment Options

WPS TEST REPORT offers computer administration, scoring, and interpretation for many WPS tests. To meet the needs of all customers, computerized assessment is available in the following three formats:
  1. CDs and Disks 
  2. Mail-In Answer Sheets
  3. FAX Service

Computerized Test Options

1. CDs and Disks

CDs and Disks allow you to administer and score tests on your own computer and then print out a report.
Unless otherwise specified in the product description, PC requirements are as follows:
 
For Programs ON CD-ROM Requiring WindowsTM: WPS programs provided on CD-ROM media run on Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista or Windows 7. NOTE: Users with Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 must be logged in with "Administrator" privilege; those with Windows 2000 must be logged in with "Standard User" privilege. Follow Microsoft's recommendation for minimum memory (RAM). Four MB of available hard disk space, a USB port, and a CD-ROM drive are required.

For Programs ON DISK Requiring a DOS Operating System: DOS 3.0 or above (6.2 recommended), 512K memory, 286 processor (486 recommended), one MB of free disk space, and 3.5" high-density floppy drive. Note: Programs requiring a DOS Operating System will not work on Windows NT, 2000, XP, or Vista.
 
PC Answer Sheets provide an inexpensive paper-and-pencil administration for those occasions when you want to use a CD or Disk, but you do not want the client entering responses directly into the computer. The client responds on the PC Answer Sheet, and then you or an assistant can enter his or her responses into the computer.

NOTE: We cannot guarantee that the programs listed in this catalog will work on operating systems developed in the future. We upgrade programs as quickly as possible, but there are sometimes short-term delays since we are not always notified of OS changes in advance.

2. Mail-In Answer Sheets
Responses are marked directly on these Answer Sheets, which are then sent to WPS TEST REPORT for computer scoring. When your Mail-In Answer Sheet arrives at WPS, it is scored, and an interpretive report is sent to you by return mail. (If your Answer Sheet arrives on a Saturday, it will be processed on the following Monday.) The price of each Mail-In Answer Sheet includes computer scoring and an interpretive report.
If the Mail-In Answer Sheet you are ordering does not include test items, you will need a test form or administration booklet to use along with it. The ordering information at the end of the test description tells you whether or not the Answer Sheet includes test items.
3. FAX Service
If you need immediate test results and don't have time to enter responses into a computer, then WPS TEST REPORT FAX Service--with its automated scoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week--is ideal for you. You can FAX Answer Sheets to WPS TEST REPORT for scoring, and we can email or FAX back a complete interpretive report in minutes.
To use WPS TEST REPORT FAX Service, you simply open an account. You make a deposit using check, MasterCard, or VISA. (There is a $50.00 minimum on your initial deposit.) Then, when you FAX an Answer Sheet for scoring and interpretation, we deduct the appropriate charge from your account. (NOTE: Test reports returned via e-mail or FAX are sent free of charge. For those sent via mail or overnight delivery, there is a small charge.)
Our FAX Service accepts only WPS TEST REPORT FAX Answer Sheets. We'll send you these--free of charge--along with special Customer Header sheets that must accompany each transmission.
You'll receive monthly activity statements and notification when your account is getting low. At your request, we'll add funds via your credit card. This can be done with one quick, toll-free telephone call.
To open an account: Just call our Customer Service Department at 800-648-8857. We can open your FAX account over the phone or send you a sign-up form to complete and return.
